The film opens on a long, unhurried take, and that is where the argument begins. Rather than cutting away to reassure the viewer, the director holds the frame and lets the performer decide how much to reveal. This is placeholder text, to be replaced with the full review.

What follows is a study in restraint. Costume, framing and sound design work together to shift authority from the camera to the character, so that power is shown as habit instead of spectacle.

Not every choice lands. The final act leans on convention, and some supporting roles are thin. Even so, the work rewards a second viewing, and it would sit well on a syllabus about authorship and the screen.
